* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas, including 
  the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and 
  Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Brazoria Islands, Coastal 
  Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Matagorda, Fort Bend, 
  Galveston Island, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Inland 
  Matagorda, Matagorda Islands and Wharton.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Areas along the coast, especially Matagorda and Brazoria
    Counties, received 4-6+" between Tuesday night and Wednesday
    morning. These areas are expected to see another round of
    moderate to heavy rainfall on Thursday and Friday which
    brings the potential for flash flooding. The current extent
    of this Flood Watch includes areas with a flood threat within
    the next 24-48 hours, so the watch could be expanded in area
    and as the rainfall threat evolves going into the weekend.
    Rainfall rates are expected to peak in the 3-4+" per hour
    range in the heaviest downpours. Additional rainfall totals
    through Friday are anticipated to be in the 2-4" range along
    the coast.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas, including 
  the following areas, in south central Texas, Coastal Jackson and 
  Inland Jackson. In southeast Texas, Austin, Bolivar Peninsula, 
  Brazoria Islands, Chambers, Coastal Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, 
  Coastal Harris, Coastal Matagorda, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston 
  Island, Grimes, Inland Brazoria, Inland Galveston, Inland Harris, 
  Inland Matagorda, Matagorda Islands, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, 
  Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller,

* WHEN...Through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Disturbances riding along a trough continue to bring periods
    of heavy rainfall to southeast Texas. Rainfall totals over
    the next 48 to 72 hours are between 2 to 4 inches, with
    isolated higher amounts of 4-6+ inches. Rainfall rates are
    expected to range from 2-4 inches per hour. Widespread 0.5 to
    1.5 inches have already fallen over the last 12 hours.
    Convection has ramped up along a coastal boundary in
    conjuction with a shortwave from south Texas, increasing the
    flood potential this afternoon and evening. Additional
    intermittent periods of showers and thunderstorms are
    anticipated Sunday and Monday for part of the area.
