...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM CST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected through the overnight hours.

* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following 
  counties, Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker and Winston.

* WHEN...Until 315 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 915 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain and
    thunderstorms moving across similar locations within the
    advisory area. This will likely cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jasper, Hamilton, Winfield, Fayette, Sumiton, Cordova, Dora,
    Carbon Hill, Vernon, Sulligent, Lynn, Arley, Guin, Double
    Springs, Parrish, Brilliant, Oakman, Glen Allen, Sipsey and
    Detroit.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
