...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Missouri, including 
  the following counties, in central Missouri, Benton and Hickory. 
  In west central Missouri, St. Clair.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 943 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Warsaw, Hermitage, Weaubleau, Wheatland, Cross Timbers,
    Collins, Vista, Gerster, Quincy, Harper, Iconium,
    Whitakerville, Fristoe, Elkton, Racket, Palo Pinto, Truman
    Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake and Truman State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory is replaced by a Flash Flood Warning for portions 
of central and west central Missouri, including the following areas, 
in central Missouri, Benton and Hickory. In west central Missouri, 
St. Clair.

The threat of flooding continues and a Flash Flood Warning is now in
