...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  expected.

* WHERE...Bates County in west central Missouri...
  Southeastern Cass County in west central Missouri...
  Western Henry County in west central Missouri...

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 945 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1
    and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Butler, Adrian, Rich Hill, Urich, Montrose, Creighton, Hume,
    Amoret, Rockville, Foster, Passaic, Ballard, Hartwell, La Due and
    Worland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory has expired for a portion of west central
Missouri, including the following areas, Bates, Cass and Henry.

Flood waters have receded. Small stream flooding is no longer
expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road
closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 100 PM CDT Tuesday for portions
of Kansas and Missouri...
