...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
counties, Barry, Lawrence and Stone.
* WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 405 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- This includes the following low water crossings...
Flat Creek at Highway C, Flat Creek at Highway Y, Flat Creek
at Highway U and Rockhouse Creek at Farm Road 2145.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cassville, Seligman, Exeter, Butterfield, Emerald Beach,
Eagle Rock, Chain-O-Lakes, Jenkins, Mcdowell, Madry, Pleasant
Ridge, Wheelerville, Table Rock Lake and Roaring River State
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

portion of southwest Missouri, including the following areas, Barry,
Lawrence and Stone.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
