...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Coke, Runnels and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1239 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
    has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.75 to 1.5 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Northeastern San Angelo, Miles, Orient, Tennyson, Grape
    Creek, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, San Angelo State Park, Rowena
    and Harriet.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    FM 1692 crossing Concho River, FM 1692 crossing The Draw, FM
    1692 crossing Sales Branch, Saynor crossing Mule Creek, River
    road crossing Indian Creek, County Road 364 crossing Red Bank
    Creek, County Road 194 crossing Red Bank Creek, Red Bank
    crossing Red Bank Creek, Poverty Canyon crossing Mule Creek
    and Mule Creek Road crossing Mule Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
