...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
counties, Barry, Lawrence, McDonald and Newton.
* WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 530 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Monett, Pierce City, Purdy, Exeter, Wheaton, Washburn,
Fairview, Pioneer, Ridgley, Rocky Comfort and Wayne.

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
