...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following 
  counties, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Harris and Liberty.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 159 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause
    minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches
    of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Pasadena, northwestern Pearland, northeastern Sugar Land,
    Baytown, Missouri City, Deer Park, Stafford, South Houston,
    Bellaire, Humble, West University Place, Galena Park, Jacinto
    City, southwestern Liberty, Dayton, Hunters Creek Village,
    Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, Beach City and
    Cloverleaf.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
