...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Florida, including the following 
  county, Collier.

* WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 328 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow
    moving thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
    to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches
    of rain have fallen from these slow moving thunderstorms.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Golden Gate Estates, West Toll Gate On Alligator Alley,
    Golden Gate and Intersection I-75 And Everglades Blvd.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the thunderstorms
    have ended but moderate rains are still occurring over the
    advisory area. Rainfall amounts between 2 and 4 inches have
    fallen during the last couple of hours and additional
    rainfall mounts up to one inch is still possible with the
    moderate rains. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Golden Gate Estates, West Toll Gate On Alligator Alley,
    Golden Gate and Intersection I-75 And Everglades Blvd.
