...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in northern Kentucky, Bracken and
Mason and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams and Brown.
* WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 721 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Maysville, West Union, Ripley, Aberdeen, Augusta,
Brooksville, Higginsport, Decatur, Dover, Germantown, Redoak,
South Ripley, Moranburg, Tuckahoe, Stoney Point, Minerva,
Bentonville, and Chatham.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
