...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties, in southwest Ohio, Butler and 
  Warren. In west central Ohio, Clark, Greene, Miami and Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1255 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen over the last
    hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
    possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Dayton, Hamilton, Springfield, Kettering, Middletown,
    Beavercreek, Fairfield, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Xenia,
    Trotwood, Miamisburg, Springboro, Vandalia, Monroe, Trenton,
    Franklin, Bellbrook, Moraine and New Carlisle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 4 AM EDT early this morning for 
the following counties, in southwest Ohio, Butler and Warren. In 
west central Ohio, Clark, Greene, Miami and Montgomery.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a 
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
