...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Union. In west 
  central Ohio, Champaign and Logan.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 218 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
    rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Bellefontaine, Urbana, West Liberty, North Lewisburg, West
    Mansfield, Ridgeway, Valley Hi, Zanesfield, Pickrelltown,
    Mingo, Middleburg, Kennard, East Liberty, Cable, New
    Jerusalem, Pottersburg, Lippincott, Raymond, Westville and
    Byhalia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 5 AM EDT early this morning for 
the following counties, in central Ohio, Union. In west central 
Ohio, Champaign and Logan.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a 
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
