* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Central Leon County in Big Bend Florida...
* WHEN...Until 730 PM EST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 531 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen in the last hour.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tallahassee, Florida State University, Florida A and M,
Tallahassee State College, Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee
Memorial Hosp, Winthrop Park, Midtown, Lake Ella, Governors
Square Mall, Frenchtown, Levy Park, Kleman Plaza, State Capital
Complex, Cascades Park, Leon County Civic Center, Macon Community
Park, Indian Head Acres, All Saints District and Griffin Heights.
