The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Webb County in south central Texas...

* Until 345 AM CDT.

* At 145 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have
  fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Laredo, Rio Bravo, Ranchitos Las Lomas, Botines, Unitec Industrial
  Park, Texas A&M, Orvil, Doctors Hospital Of Laredo, Laredo Country
  Club, Laredo International Airport, St Augustine High School South
  Laredo, United South High School and Laredo Community College.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
