* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Decatur County in south central Iowa...
  Ringgold County in south central Iowa...
  Taylor County in southwestern Iowa...

* Until 315 AM CDT.

* At 917 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mount Ayr, Bedford, Lenox, Sun Valley Lake, New Market, 
  Clearfield, Diagonal, Kellerton, Grand River, Blockton, Gravity, 
  Tingley, Sharpsburg, Redding, Shannon City, Ellston, Benton,

FOR NORTHWESTERN DECATUR, RINGGOLD AND TAYLOR COUNTIES...

At 950 PM CDT, Thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned 
area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional 
rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. 
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Local law 
enforcement reported impacts including a bridge underwater, a 
vehicle submerged, and knee deep water in some locations.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no 
additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
