North Central Plymouth County in northwestern Iowa...
South Central Sioux County in northwestern Iowa...
* Until 1115 PM CDT.
* At 803 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Le Mars, Maurice, Struble and Brunsville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL PLYMOUTH AND SOUTH CENTRAL SIOUX
COUNTIES...
At 904 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3
and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Minimal additional rainfall is
expected.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
