Northwestern Barton County in central Kansas...
Northwestern Ellsworth County in central Kansas...
Lincoln County in central Kansas...
Southeastern Russell County in central Kansas...
* Until 300 AM CDT Monday.
* At 831 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, dont
drown.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

NORTHWESTERN BARTON, NORTHWESTERN ELLSWORTH, LINCOLN AND
SOUTHEASTERN RUSSELL COUNTIES HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A FLOOD
WARNING...
The heavy rainfall has ended across the warned area. Several
roadways continue to have water across the road, therefore the Flash
Flood Warning has been transitioned to a Flood Warning.
