The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East Central Goliad County in south central Texas...
  North Central Refugio County in south central Texas...
  Southwestern Victoria County in south central Texas...

* Until 1115 AM CDT.

* At 810 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
           drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Victoria, Guadalupe, Saxet Lakes, Oak Village, Downtown Victoria,
  Victoria Riverside Park, Victoria College, Victoria Detar Hospital
  North, Victoria Colony Creek Country Club, Victoria Mall and
  Brentwood Subdivision.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
