West Central Madison Parish in northeastern Louisiana...
Northwestern Tensas Parish in northeastern Louisiana...
* Until 1000 PM CDT.
* At 656 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain
have fallen over the last 4 to 5 hours. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Winnsboro, Gilbert, Crowville and Bakers.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

rain across the warned area. Between 5 and 8 inches of rain have
fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
