* Flash Flood Warning for...
East Central Cooke County in north central Texas...
Grayson County in north central Texas...
* Until 200 PM CDT.
* At 1053 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.

Sherman, Whitesboro, Denison, Van Alstyne, Howe, Pottsboro,
Collinsville, Gunter, Callisburg, Knollwood, Dorchester, Lake
Texoma, Eisenhower State Park, Randell Lake, Preston, Southmayd,
Tioga, Sadler, Walnut Bend and Locust.

AFTERNOON FOR EAST CENTRAL COOKE AND GRAYSON COUNTIES...
At 1141 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1
and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. Portions of northwest Grayson County have
observed 3 to 4 inches of rain so far this morning, and light rain
will continue for the next hour or two. Currently, the heaviest
rainfall is moving into central portions of the county with hourly
rain rates of 2 to 3 inches.
