Southeastern Roosevelt County in east central New Mexico...
* Until 515 PM MDT.
* At 451 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast
of Milnesand, or 32 miles south of Portales, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and

SOUTHEASTERN ROOSEVELT COUNTY...
At 458 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of
Milnesand, or 33 miles south of Portales, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Milnesand.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
