The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  East central Suwannee County in northern Florida...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 427 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mcalpin, or
  12 miles northwest of Ichetucknee Spring, moving northwest at 5
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Mcalpin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

FOR EAST CENTRAL SUWANNEE COUNTY...

At 445 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mcalpin, or 11
miles southeast of Live Oak, moving northwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL SUWANNEE COUNTY
WILL EXPIRE AT 500 PM EDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, pea to 
nickel size hail and gusty winds are still possible with this 
thunderstorm.
