Southeastern Frederick County in northwestern Virginia...
Northeastern Warren County in northwestern Virginia...
Clarke County in northwestern Virginia...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 323 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Stephens
City, or 7 miles south of Millwood Pike, moving northeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
* Locations impacted include...
Berryville, Boyce, Millwood, White Post, Howellsville, Nineveh,
Armel, Bethel, and Briggs.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning are
occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of natures leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

FOR SOUTHEASTERN FREDERICK...NORTHEASTERN WARREN AND CLARKE COUNTIES
IN NORTHWESTERN VIRGINIA...
At 334 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest of
Berryville, or 7 miles southeast of Millwood Pike, moving northeast
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.

fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage

NORTHEASTERN WARREN AND CLARKE COUNTIES IN NORTHWESTERN VIRGINIA WILL
EXPIRE AT 400 PM EDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northwestern Virginia.
