The National Weather Service in Lubbock Texas has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Dickens County in northwestern Texas...
  Southeastern Motley County in northwestern Texas...

* Until midnight CDT.

* At 1132 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast
  of Afton, or 14 miles southeast of Matador, moving east at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northeastern Dickens and southeastern Motley Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

In addition to large hail, significant amounts of smaller hail are
likely. Accumulating hail can cause slick and hazardous driving
conditions, and can damage crops, trees, and vehicles.

FOR NORTHEASTERN DICKENS AND SOUTHEASTERN MOTLEY COUNTIES...

At 1147 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles west of
Dumont, or 18 miles northeast of Dickens, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Dickens and southeastern Motley Counties.
