The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Natchitoches Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
  Central Sabine Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

* Until 1030 AM CDT.

* At 926 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
  5 miles northwest of Hemphill to 38 miles southeast of Hemphill, or
  along a line from 32 miles southeast of Center to 62 miles south of
  Natchitoches, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Many, Florien, Fisher, Mount Carmel, Negreet and Kisatchie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN NATCHITOCHES AND CENTRAL SABINE PARISHES...

At 1000 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Zwolle to 34 miles southeast of Many, or along a line from 31
miles west of Natchitoches to 40 miles south of Natchitoches, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.
