FOR EASTERN PAGE COUNTY...
At 549 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Clarinda,
moving northeast at 35 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR EASTERN PAGE COUNTY.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 547 PM CDT, an 84 mph wind
gusts was reported in Page, Iowa.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
eastern Page County, including the following locations... Hepburn,
Blanchard, and Yorktown.
