* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Geary County in east central Kansas...
  Southwestern Riley County in northeastern Kansas...
  Southeastern Clay County in north central Kansas...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles southwest of Wakefield, moving northeast at 30
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wakefield and Milford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

was located over Wakefield, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

At 538 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located 4 miles east of
Wakefield, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed brief tornado just north of 
         Wakefield at 535 PM.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Wakefield and Milford.
