...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 
  2 feet. Higher amounts possible above 10000 feet. Winds gusting as 
  high as 65 mph will lead to blowing snow and reduced visibility.

* WHERE...Sierra Madre Range and Snowy Range.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Outdoor recreation could become life threatening to 
  those caught unprepared for severe winter conditions. Hikers and 
  snowmobilers may easily become disoriented. Frostbite and 
  hypothermia can develop quickly. Widespread blowing snow could 
  significantly reduce visibility and lead to dangerous travel 
  conditions. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very 
  strong winds could cause tree damage.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in 
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

  4 inches. Highest accumulations are expected near the Snowy Range. 
  Winds gusting as high as 70 mph. Strong winds will lead to blowing 
  snow and reduced visibility. Visibility may be reduced below one 
  mile at times.

* WHERE...North Snowy Range Foothills including Arlington and Elk 
  Mountain along Interstate 80.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could reduce visibility and lead 
  to slick road conditions. Travel will be difficult.
