The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Dust Storm Warning for...
  East central La Paz County in west central Arizona...
  Maricopa County in south central Arizona...

* Until 1100 PM MST.

* At 954 PM MST, a wall of dust was along a line extending from 11
  miles east of Aguila to 8 miles northwest of Tonopah to near
  Painted Rock Dam, moving west at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with strong wind in 
           excess of 50 mph.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.

* This includes the following highways...
  AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 64 and 116.
  US Highway 60 between mile markers 66 and 107.
  AZ Route 85 between mile markers 136 and 154.

Locations impacted include...
Buckeye, Tonopah, Palo Verde, Aguila, Painted Rock Dam, Palo Verde
Nuclear Generation Station, Wintersburg, Gladden, Hassayampa, and
Arlington.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dust storms lead to dangerous driving conditions with visibility
reduced to near zero. If driving, avoid dust storms if possible. If
caught in one, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your
foot off the brake.

Motorists should not drive into a dust storm. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE!

Strong to severe thunderstorms are also possible behind this wall of
dust. Keep updated with this quickly evolving situation.

...A DUST STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM MST FOR EAST
CENTRAL LA PAZ AND MARICOPA COUNTIES...

At 1020 PM MST, a wall of dust was along a line extending from near
Aguila to 17 miles northwest of Tonopah to 8 miles southwest of Palo
Verde Nuclear Generation Station, moving west at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Less than one quarter mile with strong wind in excess of 
           50 mph.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.

This includes the following highways...
AZ Interstate 10 between mile markers 64 and 95.
US Highway 60 between mile markers 66 and 95.

Locations impacted include...
Tonopah, Gladden, and Aguila.
