* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas,
  Central Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Eastern Will, Grundy, Kane,
  Kankakee, Kendall, Lake IL, McHenry, Northern Cook, Northern Will,
  Southern Cook and Southern Will and northwest Indiana, including
  the following areas, Jasper, Lake IN, Newton and Porter.

* WHEN...From 9 PM CDT this evening through early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
  may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may
  be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - The potential exists for repeated rounds of showers and
    thunderstorms developing along a stalled surface front. Localized
    rainfall rates may exceed 2 inches per hour over portions of
    northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana late this evening
    through tonight. Portions of the watch area received 1 to 3
    inches of rainfall earlier today and will be more susceptible to
    flooding with any additional heavy rainfall.

The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of Illinois, including the
following areas, Boone, Central Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Eastern Will,
Ford, Grundy, Iroquois, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, La Salle, Lake IL,
Lee, Livingston, McHenry, Northern Cook, Northern Will, Ogle,
Southern Cook, Southern Will and Winnebago and northwest Indiana,
including the following areas, Benton, Jasper, Lake IN, Newton and
Porter.

Thunderstorms are exiting the area early this morning. Outside of
ongoing flood advisories and warnings, no additional flooding is
expected through 7 AM. Therefore, the Flood Watch has been cancelled.
Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
