...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and west central
Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois,
De Witt, Marshall, McLean, Peoria, Piatt, Stark, Tazewell and
Woodford. In east central Illinois, Champaign and Vermilion. In
west central Illinois, Fulton and Knox.
* WHEN...From midnight CDT tonight through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rain has fallen across portions of central Illinois
over the past few days, including a streak of 3 to 7 inches,
locally higher, that fell over the past 24 hours from Canton
to Bloomington to Danville. Showers and thunderstorms will
produce an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain overnight into
Sunday morning across portions of central Illinois. Saturated
grounds will lead to rapid runoff from any additional
rainfall. Flash flooding and rapid rises on area rivers and
streams are possible.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared

De Witt, Marshall, McLean, Peoria, Piatt, Stark, Tazewell and
Woodford. In east central Illinois, Champaign and Vermilion. In
west central Illinois, Fulton and Knox.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM CDT this morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rain has fallen across portions of central Illinois
over the past few days, including a streak of 3 to 7 inches,
