* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Flagstaff area in Coconino County in north central
  Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 515 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is
  imminent or occurring. Some low-water crossings may become
  impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 320 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
    Schultz Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches
    are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Flagstaff, Northern Arizona University, Country Club, Sunnyside,
    Railroad Springs, Downtown Flagstaff, Fort Valley, Cheshire,
    Coconino Estates, Mt Elden Estates, Mt. Elden, Dry Lake Hills,
    Schultz Pass, East Flagstaff, Riordan Mansion State Historic Park
    and Cheshire Park.
  - This includes the following highways...
    Interstate 40 between mile markers 194 and 200. Route 66 between
    mile markers 193 and 200. Highway 180 between mile markers 217
    and 220.

    This includes the following recreation areas andcampgrounds...
    Buffalo Park, McPherson Park, Bushmaster Park, Woody Mountain

  - At 403 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated that rainfall intensity in
    the Flagstaff area has decreased. Heavy rain earlier this
    afternoon is leading to minor flooding. Between 0.75 and 1.5
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
    Schultz Creek, Clay Avenue Wash. Additional rainfall amounts of
    0.15 to 0.25 inches are expected over the area. This additional
    rain will result in minor flooding.
