...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following 
  county, San Diego.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 145 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, Mount Laguna, I-8 Between Pine
    Valley And Boulevard, Pine Valley, Hwy S1 Between Lake
    Cuyamaca And Mount Laguna, Lake Cuyamaca, Descanso, Hwy 79
    Between Julian And Lake Cuyamaca, Guatay and Boulder Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.
