...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM PDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of Southwest California, including the following
county, San Diego.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 531 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Northern Mount Laguna, Hwy S2 Between Shelter Valley And Agua
Caliente, Hwy S1 Between Lake Cuyamaca And Mount Laguna, Hwy
S2 Between Agua Caliente And Canebrake and Agua Caliente.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.
Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a
matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
