* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...East Central La Paz County in west central Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 245 AM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1151 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1
inch of rain has fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Centennial Wash and Salome Wash.

Salome.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 245 AM MST early this morning for a
portion of west central Arizona, including the following area, La
Paz.
The heavy rain has ended. Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
