...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MST EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Maricopa County in south central Arizona...
East Central La Paz County in west central Arizona...
* WHEN...Until 600 AM MST.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water
over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 256 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Buckeye, Tonopah, Aguila and Gladden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 6 AM MST EARLY THIS MORNING...
The Flood Advisory will expire at 6 AM MST early this morning for
portions of south central and west central Arizona, including the
following areas, in south central Arizona, Maricopa. In west central
Arizona, La Paz.
The heavy rain has ended. Flood waters have receded. Arroyo and small
stream flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please
continue to heed remaining road closures.
