* WHAT...Bobcat Burn scar and small stream flooding caused by
excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...North Central Beaverhead County in southwestern Montana...
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 943 AM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream
flooding over and near the Bobcat Burn scar. Up to 0.5 inches of
rain exepcted over the several hours.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding over and near the Bobcat Burn scar
caused by excessive rainfall.
* WHERE...North Central Beaverhead County in southwestern Montana...
* WHEN...Until 1245 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1100 AM MDT, Doppler radar has indicated that the heasviest
rainfall has moved off to the east; however, minor small stream
flooding over and near the Bobcat burn scar will continue for up
to a couple of hours.
- The Bobcat Burn scar is the most likely place to experience minor
flooding.
