* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Grand County in east central Utah...
* WHEN...Until 330 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1235 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 0.8 inches of rain
have fallen.

Mainly rural areas of Southwestern Grand County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain.
Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging currents in a matter
of minutes, even from distant rainfall.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 330 PM MDT this afternoon for a
portion of east central Utah, including the following area, Grand
County.
Excess runoff from heavy rain has ended over the warned area. If
flooding has been observed...Please report it to your local law
enforcement agency. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat.
