...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following 
  counties, Stark and Wayne.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 751 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Canton, Massillon, Alliance, North Canton, Louisville,
    Orrville, Rittman, Minerva, Brewster, Navarre, Dalton,
    Waynesburg, East Sparta, Wilmot, Canal Fulton, East Canton,
    Smithville, Beach City, Marshallville and Meyers Lake.

    and preparedness information.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 11 AM EDT this morning for a 
portion of northeast Ohio, including the following areas, Stark and 
Wayne.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a 
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures and monitor
forecasts as additional heavy rain is possible at times through 
tonight.
