...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...East Central Elbert County in east central Colorado...
North Central Lincoln County in east central Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 945 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 650 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause small
stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Vega Creek, Beaver Creek, Middlemist Creek, Agate Creek, Gordon
Creek, Big Sandy Creek, Dugout Creek, Lake Creek and North Fork
Arikaree River. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Cedar Point.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and
other low lying areas.

portion of east central Colorado, including the following areas,
Elbert and Lincoln.
The heavy rain has ended. Small stream flooding is no longer expected
to pose a threat. Please continue to heed any remaining closures.
