...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM MDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Western Weld County in northeastern Colorado...
* WHEN...Until 1100 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 804 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This may cause urban
and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Cache La Poudre River and Boxelder Creek. Additional rainfall
amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Severance, Ault, Black Hollow Reservoir and New Windsor
Reservoir.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, highways and underpasses. Additionally, country
roads, farmlands along the banks of creeks, and other low lying areas
are subject to flooding.

portion of northeast Colorado, including the following area, Weld.
Flood waters have receded. Urban area and small stream flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed any
remaining closures.
