* WHERE...Northeastern Elbert County in east central Colorado...
  Northeastern Lincoln County in east central Colorado...
  Eastern Adams County in northeastern Colorado...
  Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado...
  Southeastern Morgan County in northeastern Colorado...
  Southern Washington County in northeastern Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 900 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry creeks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 553 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
    Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Limon, Genoa, Last Chance, Woodlin School, Lindon, Cottonwood
    Valley, Thurman, Anton, Woodrow, Agate, Gary, Elba and Cedar
    Point.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams, country roads, farmland along creeks, and
other low lying areas.
