* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Livingston County in central Illinois...
North Central Ford County in east central Illinois...
Iroquois County in east central Illinois...
* WHEN...Until 415 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and
streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 108 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
another round of heavy rain due to thunderstorms will move over
locations that received heavy rainfall earlier this evening.
Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. 1 to locally 3 inches of rain have fallen in the
advisory area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Watseka, Fairbury, Gilman, Clifton, Milford, Chatsworth, Onarga,
Forrest, Sheldon, Chebanse, Piper City, Ashkum, Cullom, Saunemin,
Martinton, Crescent City, Danforth, Beaverville and Woodland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

ending. Automated rain gauges indicate that up to 3.5 inches of
rain has fallen over the last 3 to 4 hours. Minor flooding is
likely ongoing across parts of the advisory area, particularly
from Fairbury to Watseka and points southward.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over
the area.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 615 AM CDT this morning for
portions of central and east central Illinois, including the
following areas, in central Illinois, Livingston. In east central
Illinois, Ford and Iroquois.
The heavy rain has ended. Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining
road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for portions of
Illinois and northwest Indiana...
