* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northeastern Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 500 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 158 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Northwestern Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, The
    Pinery and Sedalia.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, highways and underpasses. Additionally, country
roads, farmlands along the banks of creeks, and other low lying areas
are subject to flooding.

* WHERE...Northeastern Douglas County in northeastern Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 500 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 329 PM MDT, Local law enforcement reported flooding in the
    Meridian neighborhood near C-470 and I-25 due to thunderstorms.
    Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over
    the area. Additional flooding will remain a threat.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Northwestern Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, The
    Pinery and Sedalia.
