...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southwestern Adams County in northeastern Colorado...
  Western Arapahoe County in northeastern Colorado...
  Southeastern Denver County in northeastern Colorado...

* WHEN...Until 430 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other
  areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 226 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This may cause urban and small stream flooding. Up
    to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen.

    - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

    - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Denver, Aurora, eastern Centennial, Englewood, Greenwood Village,
    Sheridan, Buckley SFB, Arapahoe Park, Cherry Hills Village,
    Foxfield and Cherry Creek Reservoir.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...


Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Turn
around, dont drown.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams, highways, streets, underpasses, drainage
areas and other low lying spots.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 430 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 430 PM MDT this afternoon for a
portion of northeast Colorado, including the following areas,
Southwest Adams, Western Arapahoe, and Southeastern Denver Counties.

A portion of this Advisory has been replaced by a Flash Flood
Warning. That Warning includes eastern Denver and much of Aurora.
Please see that bulletin for more information.

Please heed any remaining road closures.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for portions of
central, east central, north central, and northeast Colorado...
