...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
  expected.

* WHERE...Cherry Creek in Denver to the confluence with the South
  Platte River.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Some low-water walking and bike paths will become
  impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

    - At 359 PM MDT, Stream gauge reports indicated rapid rises on
    Cherry Creek. This is causing small stream flooding of walking
    and bike paths. The Creek will stay within designated flow areas.

    - Some locations that will experience minor floodinginclude...
    Cherry Creek in Denver County.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
