* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Clinton County in central Indiana...
Western Howard County in central Indiana...
Northern Madison County in central Indiana...
Tipton County in central Indiana...
Carroll County in north central Indiana...
Eastern Tippecanoe County in west central Indiana...
* WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 139 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kokomo, Frankfort, Elwood, Alexandria, Tipton, Delphi,
Windfall, Flora, Frankton, Rossville, Dayton, Mulberry,
Russiaville, Kirklin, Atlanta, Colfax, Camden, Clarks Hill,
Sharpsville and Burlington.

The Flood Advisory will expire at 730 PM EDT this evening for
portions of central, north central, and west central Indiana,
including the following areas, in central Indiana, Clinton, Howard,
Madison and Tipton. In north central Indiana, Carroll. In west
central Indiana, Tippecanoe.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
