* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Central Sullivan County in east Tennessee...
South Central Washington County in southwestern Virginia...
The Southeastern City of Bristol in southwestern Virginia...
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 658 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Walnut Hill, Bluff City, Morrils Cave,
South Holston Dam, Blountville, Harr and Tri-City Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory is replaced by a Flood Warning for portions of
east Tennessee, including the following area, Sullivan and southwest
Virginia, including the following area and independent city, City of
Bristol and Washington.
The threat of flooding continues and a Flood Warning is now in
effect. Please refer to that bulletin for more information.
