...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the 
  following county, Rockcastle.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 702 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Boone, Roundstone, Disputanta, Wildie, Conway, Snider,
    Rockford, Bummer, Climax, Johnetta and Goochland.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the 
  following county, Rockcastle.

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 908 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    earlier thunderstorms. Minor flooding is likely ongoing
    across the advisory area. Between 1.25 and 1.75 inches of
    rain fell.
  - No additional heavy rainfall is imminent, but any ongoing
    minor flooding impacts will continue.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Boone, Disputanta, Rockford, Climax, Snider, Roundstone,
    Bummer, Conway, Wildie and Goochland.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
