* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Franklin County in central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 215 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1108 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Columbus, Reynoldsburg, Grove City, Upper Arlington, Gahanna,
Hilliard, Bexley, Canal Winchester, Groveport, Ohio State
University, Easton, Lake Darby, Whitehall, New Albany, Grandview
Heights, Obetz, Lithopolis, Urbancrest and Valleyview.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.

are possible.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
